Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is one of the three omega-3 fatty acids. It is one of the polyunsaturated fatty acids. Because the essential fatty acids cannot be produced by the body, they have to be ingested through food. In Subitec's production facilities, EPA is formed in a one-step process in the Cultivation modules performed for highest yield .
